The head of the Ukrainian state said this in his evening address, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I had a long meeting with the military: CinC Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Hnatov, Defense Minister Umerov. We discussed the planning of our actions, our readiness to respond to Russian strikes, to their threats, as well as to act preventively, and this means increasing the production of our drones, our missiles,” he said. 

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to everyone who works for this purpose.

“Hundreds of Ukrainian companies are already delivering results for the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and there will be more - I am sure of it. Now we are maximizing the involvement of entrepreneurial power in the production of weapons,” the President said.

The Head of State informed that the Ukrainian authorities are preparing new agreements with partners in Europe in the near future to invest in Ukrainian production.

“First of all, the production of unmanned and long-range elements - everything that allows us to control the situation at the front, allows us to save the lives of our soldiers and operate at a considerable distance,” Zelensky said.

He explained that the Ukrainian government cannot speak publicly about existing plans and Ukraine's capabilities. 

“But the prospect is clear - to mirror all Russian threats and challenges. They in Russia must clearly feel the consequences of what they do against Ukraine. And they will. Strike drones, interceptors, cruise missiles, Ukrainian ballistics are key elements. We have to produce everything,” the President said. 

Zelensky also stated that the key task for the Ukrainian government is real and tangible economic growth.

“Normal social life in Ukraine, the development of our infrastructure, our communities, Ukrainian medicine, our educational opportunities - everything that ensures people's lives - is possible only with real and tangible economic growth. This is a key task for the government,” he emphasized. 

According to the President, on Tuesday, government officials also reported to him on the solutions needed to ensure the operation of enterprises in Ukraine - those that already exist and the establishment of new businesses. 

“We are working in detail on practical changes. To attract capital to Ukraine, to ensure the possibility of the most profitable joint work with partners for investment and the restoration of Ukraine,” the Head of State noted.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 26, during the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's meeting, Zelensky instructed to significantly increase the production of interceptor drones and provide separate funding for the ballistic program.
