According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“One person died in the capital as a result of the enemy attack. According to the latest information from medics, 20 people have been injured. Sixteen of them have been hospitalized,” the message stated.
Later, Klitschko reported four fatalities. Search and rescue operations are ongoing at several locations.
Previously, the Mayor reported that fires broke out in several districts of Kyiv as debris from enemy drones fell. Russian forces targeted residential infrastructure in the capital, as well as an educational institution.
Kyiv Military Administration (KMA) Head Tymur Tkachenko also reported multiple fires across the capital due to falling debris. Also, metro tracks between the Darnytsia and Livoberezhna stations were damaged during the attack.
