A prototype ground-based robotic complex designed to evacuate wounded soldiers was handed over to the 20th separate regiment of unmanned systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, work is continuing in collaboration with domestic innovators to implement solutions that will save the lives of defenders.

One of the promising areas for improving the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in evacuating wounded servicemen is the use of robotic systems.

The Central Management of Innovative Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with a domestic manufacturer, organized the transfer of a prototype ground-based robotic complex to the 20th separate regiment of unmanned systems of the Ground Forces.

It is important that the quality and potential of this weapon will be tested by a specialized unit in combat conditions. The capabilities of the technology significantly increase the chances of saving the lives of soldiers and eliminate the need for the direct involvement of an evacuation team on the front line, the General Staff emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, specialists from the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv of the Ground Forces are testing the Ardal loaded ground robotic complex in field conditions, which is capable of saving the lives and health of infantry by providing ammunition delivery, evacuation, and logistics in the most dangerous conditions.
