Russian agent guides strikes on Odesa region while posing as woman

According to Ukrinform, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) reported this.

The investigation established that the task was carried out by a 26-year-old local unemployed man, who had been recruited by Russian intelligence officers via a Telegram channel offering easy earnings.

For cover, the perpetrator grew long hair, wore women’s clothing, and used makeup.

While pretending to be a woman, the agent attempted to identify coordinates of potential targets for enemy strikes in the region.

According to SSU internal security, the enemy was interested in objects such as units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service, the National Guard, and border guards.

He transmitted the gathered information via messenger to his handler in the form of media files with geotags and his own comments.

The Security Service detained the traitor in January 2025 at his residence. During the search, three phones used for intelligence gathering and communication with the handler were seized.

The court found the agent guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

As reported by Ukrinform, military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained an FSB agent in Chernihiv who was preparing a strike on the local territorial recruitment center.
