In the occupied areas of Kherson region, Ukrainian forces are destroying Russian logistics in the rear lines, including 153 vehicles and 18 artillery systems hit over the past week.

According to Ukrinform, Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, Spokesperson for the 30th Marine Corps reported this at the briefing.

"Our troops do not ignore the enemy’s rear and are destroying its logistics. Over the past week, 153 vehicles and 18 artillery systems were destroyed. Destroying enemy transport directly reduces the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces in our area," Zavtonov said.

He added that the enemy continues to concentrate forces near the Antonivskyi and railway bridges on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Russian forces attempted 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions during the week and are also trying to advance into the island zone and establish a foothold there. Ukrainian forces detect these groups in time and strike them effectively.

Zavtonov emphasized that Ukrainian troops repelled all attacks last week and inflicted significant losses on enemy personnel and equipment eliminating 89 Russian soldiers.

As reported, Russian forces in Kherson are attempting to push Ukrainian defenders from positions on the left bank of the Dnipro and to strengthen their presence in the island zone.
