Tusk: Kremlin fueling pro-Russian wave and anti-Ukraine sentiment in Poland

“A wave of pro-Russian sentiment and anti-Ukraine attitudes is rising, created by the Kremlin on the basis of real fears and emotions,” Tusk wrote on X on Sunday, September 14.

At the same time, he emphasized that the role of politicians is to stop this wave.

Earlier, the Prime Minister assured that Polish security services and the military had sufficient information about who was responsible for the drone attack on Poland.

“We will not be sensitive to manipulations and disinformation from Russia. Poland is confident about the sources, launch site, and intentionality of this action,” he said on Friday.

The head of government called on Poles to be cautious and to rely in their assessments and comments solely on information coming from — or confirmed by — Polish institutions, primarily the military, other services, and state media.

As reported, at the UN Security Council meeting, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki stated that the intrusion of Russian drones into Polish airspace was deliberate, and that it constituted an unprecedented violation of the country’s territorial integrity.
