The statement was made on Monday by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
Leavitt stated that on Tuesday, the U.S. President will hold bilateral talks with the UN Secretary-General and with leaders from Ukraine, Argentina, and the European Union.
She noted that prior to these meetings, President Trump will deliver “a major speech” from the UN General Assembly podium.

He will then attend a ceremonial reception with more than 100 world leaders. Following the event, the U.S. president will return to Washington.
On Thursday, Trump is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the White House. On Friday, he will travel to Long Island to attend a golf match between the United States and Europe.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly is taking place this week in New York.
The previous meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump took place on August 18 at the White House, with the primary focus being a peaceful resolution to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
