Ukrainian Defense Ministry delegation leaves for US to discuss joint drone production

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this in a statement released on Monday, Ukrinform reports.

"As part of regular contacts with American partners, on September 29 a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, headed by Deputy Minister Serhii Boiev, left for a working visit to the United States," the ministry said.

It added that the visit was taking place "in particular, to work through technical issues related to joint drone production."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier announced that the Ukrainian delegation would hold meetings in the United States to discuss military cooperation, including the acquisition of U.S.-made weapons through various programs.
