No simple solutions to ending war – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that there can be no simple solutions to ending the war. At the same time, he emphasized that such decisions must be made only with Ukraine’s participation.

As reported by Ukrinform, the head of state wrote this on Telegram.

“There will be no simple solutions to ending this war. We understand what is happening. We understand who we are dealing with. The issue is not the difficulty of making decisions. I am capable of making them. What matters is that everything is fair and transparent. That there are no games played behind Ukraine's back. That nothing is decided without Ukraine – about us, about our future,” he noted.

Zelensky stressed that the most sensitive and difficult issues are those related to territories, as well as frozen assets and security guarantees.

“I can’t speak on behalf of European leaders about frozen money in Europe. I can only share my view, and they can support me. And about security guarantees. We count on strong security guarantees from the United States and Europe, and some other leaders. This is one of the Coalition of the Willing topics. We work on it,” the President said.
