Witkoff stated that there had been "a lot of progress" in negotiations between Ukraine and the United States, which lasted more than five hours.

According to Ukrinform, the U.S. president's special envoy Steve Witkoff stated this on X.

"The meeting in Berlin between President Zelenskyy, Special Envoy Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and delegations from the United States and Ukraine lasted over five hours. Representatives held in-depth discussions regarding the 20-point plan for peace, economic agendas, and more," Steve Witkoff noted.

According to him, significant progress was achieved, and the parties will meet again tomorrow morning.

As Ukrinform previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he does not consider the creation of a demilitarized economic zone in Donbas to be fair, because first of all it would be unclear who would govern it.
