Crew of Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter killed during combat mission

According to Ukrinform, the 11th Kherson Army Aviation Brigade announced this on Facebook.

"Our brothers-in-arms – the crew of an Mi-24 helicopter – did not return from a combat mission. Only the finest sons of Ukraine are capable of defending the Motherland so heroically and fighting the occupier so desperately in the sky," the statement reads.

The brigade said the fallen servicemen were true patriots, worthy people and officers in the fullest sense of the word.

"This loss is a great pain. […] For us, they will remain in the sky forever. […] We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen Heroes. They loved the sky and Ukraine. Eternal flight! Honor!" the Kherson Army Aviation Brigade said.

On December 18, 2025, the crew of a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter was killed while carrying out a combat mission.
