A total of 67 civilians injured in Russia’s missile attack on the city of Vinnytsia, including children, are staying at local hospitals.

The relevant statement was made by Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov on Espreso.TV Channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“All efforts are focused on providing assistance to 67 injured civilians, including children, who are staying at hospitals. Fourteen of them are in severe condition, four – in critical condition,” Morhunov noted.

In his words, most of those affected suffered burns and shrapnel wounds.

According to Morhunov, hospitals were fully provided with necessary drugs, medical consumables, and there is no need in donors at the moment.

Meanwhile, some patients will require prosthetics services in the future, and Vinnytsia authorities would need help in this regard.

“Friends from the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel have contacted us to provide further help with prosthetics. The Czech Republic expressed readiness to receive the injured if necessary. Many of my colleagues from other cities reached me by phone. Half of Ukraine called me,” Morhunov told.

A reminder that, on July 14, 2022, the Russian military launched three Kalibr missile strikes on downtown Vinnytsia from the Black Sea, having killed 24 civilians, including three children. A total of 202 civilians requested medical assistance, and 68 of them were taken to hospital, including four children.
