U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink has called a Russian attack on Ukraine on New Year's Eve cowardly and said the United States is confident of Ukraine's victory in 2023.
According to Ukrinform, she stated this on Twitter.
"Beyond belief. Russia coldly and cowardly attacked Ukraine in the early hours of the new year. But Putin still does not seem to understand that Ukrainians are made of iron. America is absolutely confident Ukraine will prevail in 2023. Slava Ukraini!" Brink said.
On the night of December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 45 Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones, which were used by the Russian invaders to attack Ukraine.
