Zelensky thanks Ukraine's air defense forces for downing all Shahed drones overnight

The head of state said this in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

"A difficult night. Continuing to terrorize Ukraine, the enemy used 36 Shaheds. None of them reached their target. I thank our air defense forces for the 100% result," Zelensky wrote.

On the night of May 24-25, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed all 36 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones launched by the enemy.

According to Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat, most of the UAVs were launched at Ukraine's western regions.
