Ukraine's General Staff reports 149 combat engagements in past 24 hours

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a morning update published on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The enemy carried out two missile strikes and 81 airstrikes, deploying 162 guided bombs, as well as 5,839 artillery strikes, including 88 from multiple launch rocket systems. Russian forces also employed 5,593 kamikaze drones.

Russian airstrikes targeted the settlements of Boiaro-Lezhachi in the Sumy region, Novodanylivka and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Lvove in the Kherson region.

Ukrainian aircraft, missile forces, and artillery struck two enemy personnel concentration areas, seven artillery positions, a command post, two ammunition depots, an electronic warfare station, and an air defense system.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, five engagements were recorded. The enemy carried out 12 airstrikes, dropping 28 guided bombs, and conducted 288 artillery strikes, including seven from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy assault near Hlyboke.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five Russian assaults near Kupiansk, Holubivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, 20 enemy attacks were recorded. Russian forces attempted advances near Ridkodub, Hrekivka, Myrne, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, and Karpivka.

In the Siversk sector, nine enemy attacks were repelled near Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, and toward Serebrianka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two engagements were recorded near Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy launched five attacks near Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and toward Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 enemy assaults near Popiv Yar, Poltavka, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Nykanorivka, Maiak, Volodymyrivka, Shakhove, Rubizhne, Vilne, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Kotlyne, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoukrainka, and toward Balahan.

In the Novopavlivka sector, 21 enemy attacks were repelled near Tolstoi, Oleksandrohrad, Maliivka, Zelene Pole, Voskresenka, Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Zelenyi Hai, Myrne, and toward Filiia, Zaporizke, and Komyshuvakha.

In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors, no enemy offensive operations were recorded in the past 24 hours.

In the Dnipro River sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attacks.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
