Ukrainian Air Force proves Russian aircraft struck Sudzha boarding school

The results of objective control confirm that the attack on the boarding school with civilians in Sudzha, Kursk region of the Russian Federation, was carried out by Russian tactical aviation.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published the relevant information in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

They showed screenshots from the Virage Tablet system with the flight path of a Russian guided aerial bomb.

“Around 18.00 on February 1, 2025, Russian aviation struck with a guided aerial bomb at a place of temporary residence of civilians (7 Lenin Street, Sudzha, Russia) - a three-story building of a former boarding school, which housed 86 local civilians and a National Police of Ukraine station with 4 police officers,” the statement said.

According to the military, the strike destroyed the central part of the building.

It is emphasized that bombing civilians, even when they are local residents, is a signature of Russian criminals.

“Traditionally, numerous Russian publics blame Ukraine for the attack. This will not work! There is indisputable evidence and results of objective control that the strike was carried out by Russian tactical aviation,” the Armed Forces emphasize. 

As reported, as a result of the Russian air strike on the boarding school in Sudzha, Kursk region, four people were killed, four wounded are in serious condition, and 84 people were rescued from the rubble.
