Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service (SES), shared the figures during a television broadcast, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Unfortunately, since the start of the invasion, 105 rescuers have been killed and 502 others injured,” he said.
Khorunzhyi also provided an update on the condition of SES personnel recently injured in the aftermath of a Russian strike on Kyiv. Some have already recovered, while others remain in medical care. One rescuer, he noted, is in critical condition with a severe head injury, and doctors are fighting to save his life.
