US prepares new military aid package for Ukraine - CNN

“The United States is set to announce a $1.2 billion aid package to Ukraine as early as Tuesday” - the statement said.

It is emphasized that the announcement is expected less than a week after the previous tranche of aid was provided to Ukraine, and at a time when the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for a counteroffensive.

According to the official, the package will include drones, artillery ammunition and air defense missiles, as well as other equipment.

The new aid is expected to come from the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
