General Staff: Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 255,570

Ukraine's defense forces eliminated about 255,570 Russian invaders between February 24, 2022 and August 16, 2023, including 650 in the last 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 4,324 enemy tanks (+11), 8,380 armored fighting vehicles (+10), 5,152 artillery systems (+24), 714 multiple launch rocket systems (+0), 485 air defense systems (+3), 315 warplanes (+0), 314 helicopters (+0), 4,248 tactical unmanned aerial systems (+6), 1,404 cruise missiles (+17), 18 ships/boats (+0), 7,614 vehicles and fuel trucks (+30), and 773 pieces of special equipment (+4).

Earlier reports said that about 30 combat engagements took place on the front line in the past 24 hours. Ukraine's defense forces repelled an enemy attack in the Avdiivka area.
