Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board at NPC Ukrenergo, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"During the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin today, I signed a grant agreement worth EUR 15 million with Christiane Laibach, a member of the Executive Board at the of Directors of Germany’s state-owned development bank KfW. These are EU funds transferred to us through KfW. They will be used to purchase critical equipment and restore high-voltage substations after the Russian terrorist attacks," Kudrytskyi wrote.
He noted that over the past two days, Ukrenergo attracted EUR 45.4 million of international support to restore the power grid following Russian attacks and strengthen its resilience.
Since the full-scale war began, Ukrenergo has attracted EUR 224 million of international support from KfW.
As reported, NPC Ukrenergo has attracted a EUR 30.4 million loan from the German government to improve the reliability of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
