Georgian president congratulates Ukraine, Moldova on start of EU membership talks

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has congratulated Ukraine and Moldova on the start of EU accession negotiations.
She said this in a post on the social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
“Congratulations to Ukraine and Moldova on this milestone in your EU integration journey! Sincere congratulations to President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Maia Sandu on this significant achievement.

As reported, on June 14, the EU countries at the level of permanent representatives agreed in principle on the negotiating frameworks for the accession negotiations of Ukraine and Moldova. The Belgian presidency will convene the first intergovernmental conference on this issue on June 25.
