French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a new EUR 2 billion military aid package for Ukraine.

He said this at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today I want to announce a new package of military support for Ukraine worth 2 billion euros,” Macron said.

He added that this assistance should “directly respond to the priority needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

According to Macron, the package included MILAN anti-tank missiles, air defense systems, MICA missiles for Mirage fighters, Mistral anti-aircraft missile systems, VAB AMX-10 RX armored vehicles, and ammunition, including remotely controlled ammunition.
