According to Ukrinform, Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman for the operational headquarters of the Odesa regional military administration, reported this on his Facebook page.
"Currently, the Russian Black Sea Fleet squadrons have relocated to the Crimean Cape Tarkhankut and Lake Donuzlav. And it is not clear yet that they intend to carry out a naval landing on our coast, knowing how it will end for them," Bratchuk said.
According to him, the enemy was also held back on land, particularly on the positions "Kherson - Mykolaiv - Kryvyi Rih - Voznesensk - Novovorontsovka of the Kherson region."
"We can state the effective work of our Air Defense and Air Force systems. Four Su-25 planes and two enemy helicopters have been destroyed over the last four days. At the same time, we are recording more and more cases of desertion and looting among Russian invaders," Bratchuk said.
As reported, on February 24, Russian President Putin announced the beginning of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, MLRS and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was declared.
