The relevant statement was made by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Several missiles have hit the aircraft repair plant, destroying its buildings. Active operations at the plant were suspended timely. Thus, there are no casualties,” Sadovyi wrote.
In his words, rescuers and relevant municipal services are working at the scene.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians.
