Yermak: Ukrainians will never go for compromise in exchange for independence, integrity, and sovereignty

The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, says it is impossible to speak to Ukrainians in the language of ultimatums or capitulation, because freedom runs in their blood.

According to the official, who spoke with MSNBC, the Ukrainian people will never compromise in exchange for independence, integrity, and sovereignty, reads his tweet.

"It's impossible to deprive Ukrainians of their freedoms. It's impossible to speak to Ukrainians in the language of ultimatums and capitulation, because the freedom is in our blood," Yermak said.

“And we'll never give away our independence, our integrity, our sovereignity for a compromise. It's unacceptable and impossible,” the official concluded.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a new phase of Russian war against Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying Ukrainian infrastructure, massively targeting residential areas using artillery, rockets, and ballistic missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, Territorial Defense units, and the entire nation have risen against the invaders and are inflicting significant losses on Russian invasion forces.
