In Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, Russian invaders are purposefully destroying food warehouses.

That’s according to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, Ukrinform reports.

"In Severodonetsk, the Russian army continues to destroy wholesale food warehouses. They are hitting them because they know where they are located. They managed to inflict losses on local businesses, but the city's residents will be fed anyway - our supplies have been set up," Haidai wrote.

A total of 14 fires broke out in the region on March 21 amid Russian invasion. About 25 sites were damaged, including two apartment blocks and 16 private households, a children’s hospital in Severodonetsk, a school in Rubizhne, a food warehouse, outbuildings, garages, and infrastructure facilities.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24 declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying infrastructure, conducting massive air and artillery raids on residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns, killing civilians, committing crimes against humanity.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
