According to the operational information as of 18:00, March 25, the enemy continued to regroup troops in order to build up forces to resume offensive operations during the day. “In some areas, the enemy tries to carry out assault operations, does not abandon attempts to inflict fire damage on certain units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy is unsuccessful,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
According to the General Staff data, the enemy takes measures to restore combat capability, replenish ammunition and fuel in order to ensure the readiness of offensive operations.
At the same time, Ukraine’s defense forces grouping continues to conduct a defense operation in certain areas and directions, conducts a stabilization operation and performs territorial defense tasks.
The defense forces involved in the implementation of measures to defend Kyiv continue to repel the enemy's offensive, inflict fire on it, and hold designated boundaries.
“In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine the occupiers continue to terrorize the local population, forcibly deport people to the territory of the russian federation, carry out chaotic shelling of settlements in order to intimidate the local population, seize vehicles and personal belongings,” reads the report.
It is reported that in the temporarily occupied Luhansk, the occupiers set up a military hospital, which is now full of wounded servicemen of the russian federation. Part of the hospital is used for the storage of corpses because the local morgues are overloaded.
The enemy continues to suffer losses among the leadership. Thus, on March 25, Ukrainian defenders killed the commander of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Southern Military District, lieutenant general Yakov Rezantsev.
As reported, as of the morning of March 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already eliminated more than 16,000 invaders.
