Russians drop phosphorus bombs in Donetsk region, children among injured in attack

Eleven civilians, including four children, sustained injuries as Russian invaders launched white phosphorus munitions in Donetsk region at night on March 30-31. Another two injured were reported Thursday morning, March 31.

This was announced by Donetsk Regional Military Administration chief Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, according to Ukrinform

“At night, the Russians continued shelling the central part of the region. The enemy once again used phosphorus bombs against Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka. Eleven wounded civilians from the Mariinka community, including four children, were admitted to the Kurakhove City Hospital,” the head of the region wrote.

He noted that the enemy attack on the Ocheretyne community this morning left two persons wounded.

Pavlo Kyrylenko also said that drinking water and food supplies are being delivered to the settlements on the front line, while civilians wishing to flee the area are being evacuated.
