The death toll in Russia’s missile strike on the Mykolayiv Regional State Administration has risen to 28.

“As of 10:50 on April 1, 28 people were killed in the enemy missile strike on the building of the Mykolayiv Regional State Administration.  Rescuers pulled 27 bodies from the rubble and another person died in hospital. The works are underway," Iliana Patsiuk, Spokesperson for the State Emergency Service Department in Mykolayiv region told an Ukrinform correspondent.

As reported, at about 08:45 on March 29 in Mykolayiv, a Russian missile hit nine-story premises housing the Mykolayiv Regional State Administration and the Mykolayiv Regional Council. The central section from the 9th to the 1st floor was destroyed.

On February 24, Russian president Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
