New round of Ukraine-Russia talks now continues online - adviser to President’s Office chief

The next round of negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation is now ongoing in a video conference format.

A member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podoliak, said this in a commentary to the media, Ukrinform reports.

"Negotiations continued online - with the involvement of working subgroups," the official stressed.

As reported, on March 29, a face-to-face round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations took place in Istanbul.

After the talks, the Ukrainian delegation voiced a number of proposals toward ending the Russian-Ukrainian war, including the signing of an international treaty on security guarantees for Ukraine.
