In Kharkiv region, Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed two Russian Mi-8 helicopters.

“Since the start of the open Russian invasion, the units of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a considerable number of weapons, military equipment, and manpower, including helicopters of enemy military aircraft,” the Command of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

Yesterday, according to confirmed data, servicemen of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down two Russian Mi-8 military transport helicopters. "The helicopters were destroyed by a crew of Ukraine’s Corsar portable anti-tank missile system in Kharkiv region. In fact, this is the first case when an air target was successfully destroyed by an anti-tank missile system," the publication reads.

After being hit by a missile, an unguided enemy helicopter rolled on its side and crashed into another Russian helicopter flying behind.

As reported, on April 1, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that Russia had lost more than $10 billion in military equipment in Ukraine.
