Russian troops used force against peaceful demonstrators in the temporarily captured city of Kakhovka in the Kherson region.
That's according to the Telegram channel Kakhovka.INFO, Ukrinform reports.
"Gunfire and grenade explosions can be heard in the city. It seems that they are dispersing the rally, which was scheduled for today at 11:00," the statement reads.
People on social media said the Russian military used stun grenades. According to locals, protesters were beaten and some of them were wounded.
