410 bodies of civilians taken out of liberated territory of Kyiv region

So far, 410 bodies of killed civilians have been taken out of the territory of Kyiv region liberated from Russian aggressors.

"Currently, 410 bodies of killed civilians have been taken out of the territory of Kyiv region. Prosecutors and other specialists have already examined 140 of them," Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

She added that prosecutors, investigators, and forensic experts were constantly on duty at the forensic bureau to perform DNA examinations, autopsies and selection of DNA samples.

Venediktova noted that the work with local population, search for witnesses, victims, collection of photos and video evidence was underway.

"People are scared, tired and tormented, they have experienced horror. This also requires time and a professional approach to record everything correctly and not lose the chance to find and punish the perpetrators," she stressed.

As reported, the Ukrainian military liberated Kyiv region from Russian invaders. The whole world has seen the photos of civilians killed by invaders in Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel and other populated localities. Raped women, who were tried to be burned, killed local government officials, children, the elderly, and men are among the victims of Russian war crimes. Many had their hands tied, there are traces of torture, people were shot in the back of the head.

On April 1, Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk said that 280 people had been buried in mass graves.
