The Russian military and political leadership has begun the covert mobilization of reservists.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.

As of 06:00 on April 4, the Russian armed forces continued their armed aggression against Ukraine.

It was found that during the selection of candidates preference is given to persons with combat experience. Private, sergeant and officer corps are subject to mobilization.

The main regions for mobilization the Krasnodar Krai, the Perm Krai, the Republics of Dagestan, Ingushetia and Kalmykia.

It was established that financial incentives are the main motivating factor for reservists. In particular, the Russian population is of the opinion that the participants in the war with Ukraine can improve their financial situation through so-called "trophies," i.e. robbery and looting.

According to the General Staff, the command of the Russian armed forces expects to attract about 60,000 people during the mobilization.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian defenders repulsed seven enemy attacks over the past 24 hours, destroyed two armored vehicles, 43 vehicles and an enemy mortar.

Anti-aircraft missile forces of the Ukrainian Air Forces have hit six air targets in the past 24 hours, including a Su-34, a Su-35, an Il-22, a helicopter and two cruise missiles.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from February 24 to April 3, Russia lost about 18,000 soldiers, 644 tanks, 143 aircraft, 134 helicopters, and many other weapons and equipment.
