In the village of Husarivka, Izium district, Kharkiv region, the Russian military tortured three locals and set their bodies on fire.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Izium District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram.

According to investigators, during the capture of Husarivka, the Russian military tortured three locals and then set their bodies on fire.

To eliminate the traces of their crimes before the arson, the Russians covered the bodies of those killed with car tires.

The burnt remains of three people were found in a basement after the village was liberated from invaders on April 7.

As reported, 14 people were injured and one woman was killed in the enemy shelling of Kharkiv and the district on April 7. The Izium direction remains critical. In particular, it is expected that the enemy will try to redeploy a large amount of equipment there.
