"Continued dialogue with British PM Boris Johnson. Spoke about the opposition to Russia's aggression, situation in Mariupol. Thanked for the defense support & macro-financial aid," Zelensky said.
He added that the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine was also raised during the talks. "We appreciate the leadership of Boris Johnson and the United Kingdom in supporting Ukraine," Zelensky tweeted.
Zelensky said earlier that he had discussed with the presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan their mediation role in the talks between Ukraine and Russia.
He also said that Ukraine should use every opportunity to hold talks with Russia until the war is over.
