After his visit to Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has noted that the Ukrainian people stand firm in defense of their homeland and the United States, along with other countries, is doing everything possible to support them.

“Ukrainians are standing up, they’re standing strong, and they’re doing that with the support that we have coordinated from literally around the world,” Blinken posted on Twitter, expressing his admiration.

He shared photos from the train he and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin traveled from Poland to Kyiv.

“We saw people on the streets and clear evidence that the battle for Kyiv has been won. But we know that’s in stark contrast to other parts of Ukraine, where the Russian military continues to commit atrocities,” the U.S. Secretary of State noted.

As reported, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin paid a visit to Ukraine in support of the country's state and military leadership.
