Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine total 23,800 – General Staff

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The total estimated losses of the enemy, from February 24 to May 2, also include: tanks – 1,048, (+22) armored combat vehicles – 2,519 (+48), artillery systems – 459 (+8), MLRS – 152 (+1), air defense means – 80, aircraft – 194 (+2), helicopters – 155, vehicles – 1,824 (+28), ships/boats - 8, UAVs of the operational and tactical level – 271 (+26), special equipment – 38 (+6), and cruise missiles - 84.

The General Staff noted that the Russian boats destroyed this morning would be included in the update on total enemy’s losses tomorrow.

Data on losses are being clarified as the calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of its eight-year war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
