G7 countries back idea of transferring seized Russian assets to Ukraine - Kuleba

He said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"I can't talk about the details. The only thing I can say is that they are very positive about the idea of Russian assets not just being seized, but also being transferred to Ukraine for the rebuilding of our state. We're talking about hundreds of billions of euros," Kuleba said.

Additionally, he noted that the G7 had reaffirmed its readiness to join efforts to rebuild Ukraine, including cities, infrastructure and regions affected by the war.

Kuleba said that G7 representatives had also supported the idea of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding patronage over a certain Ukrainian region or city. "Our partners like this idea very much. I think everything will be fine, we will build this work accordingly," Kuleba said.

On May 13, Kuleba met with his countries from the G7 countries in Lubeck, Germany.
