Enemy shelled Luhansk region 12 times in past 24 hours. Casualties reported

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy directed the main destructive blows at Lysychansk and nearby settlements. Russian forces launched 12 attacks using various weapons at Lysychansk, Zolotarivka, and Bilohorivka. Some private and multi-apartment buildings, commercial establishments were destroyed, some local residents were injured.

The relevant data were documented and entered in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

 As reported by Ukrinform, according to the information provided by the military and civilian administrations as of 8:00 on July 3, in the Luhansk region, Russian troops were attempting to gain a foothold in the Lysychansk area. Despite suffering significant losses, enemy forces were advancing.
